This policy explains how Funkel AI handles data across our website, app, support, payments, and integrations.

2. Who This Covers
This policy covers visitors, customers, workspace users, and business contacts whose information appears in Funkel AI.
We control the processing of account, billing, and support data. You need a lawful reason to process and contact your leads.
3. What We Collect and Why
- Account details: name, email, profile details, sign-in provider IDs, and password hashes for password sign-in.
- Workspace data: product details, buyer profiles, settings, contacts, search results, files, messages, replies, and connected-account details.
- Business-contact data: names, business emails, job titles, companies, profile URLs, and professional signals from public sources and enrichment.
- Usage and security data: activity and diagnostic records that help us fix problems and prevent misuse.
- Billing and support data: subscription, invoice, support, and service-email records. Stripe processes payment details.
- Enterprise inquiries: your name, work email, company, seat count, and message.
- Funkel Scout on funkel.ai: the website you enter, your buyer profile, and the lead text you paste go to Funkel Engine (
engine.funkel.ai) to make results. Funkel Engine does not store the lead text or the openers. - Funkel Scout upgrade: when you click a Funkel AI link in Funkel Scout (See Funkel AI plans, I want in now, or Send your leads), Funkel Scout sends your buyer profile and any leads with it to Funkel Engine and gives you a Funkel AI link, so Funkel AI can add them to your account after you sign up or sign in.
4. How We Use Information
We use this data to operate Funkel AI, find prospects, draft outreach, manage replies, and run integrations.
We also use it for sign-in, billing, support, security, and legal obligations.
We use Enterprise inquiry details to reply to your request and discuss your team's needs.
5. Data Sharing and Sub-processors
We do not sell personal information. We share data only when needed to run Funkel AI, including with:
- Cloud hosting providers: application hosting in the EU (Sweden).
- Stripe: payments and billing.
- Affiliate providers: affiliate attribution.
- Connected-account providers: account connections and messaging.
- AI providers: AI drafting and analysis.
- Enrichment providers: business-contact information.
- Email delivery providers: email delivery.
- Form providers: Enterprise inquiry forms and submission notifications.
- Monitoring and analytics providers: monitoring, session replay, and analytics.
- Advertising partners: advertising measurement, only with your consent.
- File storage providers: file storage.

We share relevant data with integrations you connect. We may also disclose data to meet legal requirements or protect rights and security. Data may transfer as part of a merger, financing, or business sale.
6. Cookies and Analytics
Essential storage. We use authentication and session storage to keep you signed in.
Monitoring. Our monitoring provider supplies analytics, error monitoring, and session replay. Form input values are masked, but other page content may be visible.
Monitoring can link sessions to your account ID and operates separately from optional-cookie consent. A website analytics provider also measures site traffic.
Optional tracking. In opt-in regions, Meta and Affonso start only after your acceptance. Elsewhere, regional policy can allow tracking by default until you opt out. A Global Privacy Control signal disables this tracking.
Affonso uses your account ID for signup attribution. Our signup pixel does not send your name or email. Stripe supplies payment events for commission calculations.
Referral cookies last up to 60 days. Your consent choice lasts up to 180 days across funkel.ai, www.funkel.ai, and app.funkel.ai.
Your choice. Open Cookie settings in the website footer or app to withdraw consent and reopen the banner.
We remove referral cookies and reload when needed to stop advertising and affiliate tracking. Separate monitoring continues.
Existing account attribution and billing records remain for commission accounting and disputes.
7. Retention
We retain data as needed to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.
Backups, logs, and invoices may remain for a limited period after cancellation or deletion.
Funkel Scout upgrade: if you do not use the Funkel AI link, it expires after 7 days and the data is deleted in our next daily cleanup. After Funkel AI imports the data, Funkel Engine keeps its copy for 24 hours in case the import must be retried, then deletes it in the next daily cleanup.
8. International Transfers
Providers may process data in the United States or other countries where they operate.
Where required, we use contractual or statutory safeguards for international transfers.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict some processing. You can exercise these rights by emailing [email protected]. If your professional data appears inside Funkel AI, you can also use that address to request review or deletion under applicable law. Customers in the European Union may lodge a complaint with their local data-protection authority.
10. Security
We use encrypted transport, access controls, credential protection, and operational monitoring. More detail is on our Security page. No system is perfectly secure.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. If the changes are material, we will update the date above and may also notify you by email or in-product notice.
